Among commercially insured patients with a previous opioid overdose, repeated overdose within 2 years occurred in 17% of those prescribed 100 MME/day or more, 15% of those prescribed 50–100 MME/day, 9% of those prescribed less than 50 MME/day, and 8% of those prescribed no opioids.
