Homo luzonensis lived on the Philippine island of Luzon at least 50,000 to 67,000 years ago.
Notes on verification
Confirmed by original 2019 Nature paper and multiple independent corroborating sources (CNRS, Nature news, Science). Note later 2023 uranium-series re-dating suggests fossils may be older (~130,000-134,000 years), but this doesn't invalidate the original reported dating range which is what the claim reflects.
