Confirmed by official IARC/Interphone press release, NCI fact sheet, and independent secondary sources reporting an OR of 1.40 for glioma among heaviest users. Causal interpretation remains debated due to acknowledged recall/reporting bias, but the empirical finding as stated is well corroborated.
