In the Reproducibility Project, effects that were successfully replicated were generally smaller or weaker than the effects reported in the original studies.
Notes on verification
Confirmed by the original OSC 2015 Science paper and multiple independent secondary analyses (Springer, BPS, Wikipedia), all agreeing replicated effects were roughly half the size of original effects.
